Meet the Team

Our caring veterinary team pride themselves on delivering great care to local pets and owners.

    Christina Lowrie

    Practice Manager

    Christina holds an animal care assistant qualification, and initially joined us as a receptionist in 2017. She has been our practice manager since 2020, but still enjoys helping out on reception and popping in to consults when she gets the chance! In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, going to concerts, and curling up at home with her cat, Clyro.

    Dr. Helen Good

    Clinical Director

    BVM&S MRCVS

    Helen studied veterinary medicine at the Royal Dick Vet School in Edinburgh, and joined our team in 2003, progressing to head vet in 2015. She has a particular passion for dental surgery, and loves spending time with her family and her cats, Meg and Coco, who have her well trained.

    Dr. Morven Shaw

    Veterinary Surgeon

    BVMS MRCVS

    Morven has been with our practice since 2015, and graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2002. She feels very lucky to get to know wonderful pets (and humans) every day, and has two cats of her own who are her pride and joy. Her favourite pastimes include heading to the cinema, watching live music and exploring the great outdoors.

    Dr. Alex Mill

    Veterinary Surgeon

    BVMS MRCVS

    Having graduated from Glasgow Vet School in 2018, Alex knows the west end very well! She worked in Manchester and South Korea before joining our team in 2023, and loves getting to know the lovely pets and pet owners in the area. In her own time, she’s an avid Formula 1, McLaren and Eurovision fanatic, and loves reading fantasy series.

    Dr. Brodie Peters

    Veterinary Surgeon

    BVSc MRCVS

    Brodie qualified as a veterinary surgeon in his native Australia in 2014, and moved to the UK four years later. He has been part of our team since 2023 and loves working in the vibrant west end, as his previous practices were in rural towns! Outside of work, his hobbies include travelling, photography and going to concerts.

    Claire Glen

    Head Veterinary Nurse

    Claire first joined our practice after leaving school, and completed a work experience placement with us before qualifying as a registered veterinary nurse. She loves all aspects of her job, and has a cat and two guinea pigs of her own at home. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling with her family and spending time outdoors.

    Cheryl Casey

    Veterinary Nurse

    RVN

    Cheryl qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2004, and has been with our team since 2023. Her favourite parts of her job are taking care of inpatients and monitoring anaesthetics during surgeries. She is an avid country music fan and has three dogs, Abbie, Kali and Suzi, who she loves going on adventures with.

    Kita-Louise Smith

    Veterinary Nurse

    RVN

    Kita-Louise has been a qualified registered veterinary nurse since 2017, and joined our practice in 2020. She holds a behaviourist qualification and loves getting to know our patients. In her spare time, she enjoys crafts, particularly wood burning, and gardening.

    Rhiannon

    Senior Receptionist

    Rhiannon has loved animals all her life, and joined us from a veterinary practice in London. She loves meeting our clients and their pets, and has a cat of her own called Spooky. In her spare time, she loves hiking, going to gigs, reading and spending cosy nights in at home.

    Rachael

    Receptionist

    Rachael worked in customer service roles for many years before joining us in 2024, and loves working with people. She has had pets her whole life, so feels that getting to work with animals and friendly faces every day is as rewarding as it gets. Outside of work, she loves organising craft nights with friends, going to gigs and the cinema and exploring new places.

    Dr Miranda Williams

    Veterinary Surgeon

    BSc BVMS MRCVS

    Miranda graduated from the University of Glasgow with commendation in 2021. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Vermont, where she is originally from. Miranda has been a part of the team since 2025. She particularly enjoys internal medicine and the variety of cases that keep everyday interesting! In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, travelling, hiking, and spending time with her two rescue Persians, Wallace and Preston.

    Tara Patil

    RVN

    Tara has been a registered veterinary nurse since 2023, and joined our practice at the start of 2025.
    She particularly enjoys being in theatre and is currently completing a post graduate certificate in surgical nursing with Harper Adams University.
    In her spare time she loves to cook for friends, going on a hikes and going to reformer Pilates!

    Kimberley Anderson

    Receptionist

    Kimberley joined us from another practice in March 2025 and has already fallen in love with some of the animals. She loves seeing excited pets drag their owners into the practice and you will always find her sneaking extra treats to her new doggy friends. At home she has an 11-year-old cat called Hedwig. In her spare time, she loves walks around country parks, collecting quirky earrings and eating as much Mexican food as possible.
